Date:Jul, 30 2004 Due to the flooding of properties along the river,Dow may want to investigate the posibility of purchasing the properties along the Tittabawasee. If it took Dow 10 years to clean up the contaminated soil at least this way it would be their soil and not someone else who could be suing them. I could foresee those properties selling for 6-8 times their current SEV values and even then it would be cheaper than all the law suits. Dow is not denying the contamination nor how it got there so why don't they work towards the resolution?
